Louisiana Tech Men Finish Seventh, Women Ninth at WAC Cross Country Championships

RENO, Nev. - Led by Matt Wolfe's time of 28:20, the Louisiana Tech men's cross country team finished seventh at the Western Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships Saturday morning while the Tech women's team finished ninth. Chelsea Dressle led the women's team for the fourth time this season.

Wolfe's time of 28:20 placed him 36th overall while Jack Ramstad finished 44th with a time of 28:48 in the 8k race. Josh Slocum ran 28:55 to finish 45th.

On the women's side, Dressle continued to be the top finisher for Louisiana Tech as she has been all season long, finishing 68th overall. Kristen Loy placed 70th while Lauren Gilbert finished 71st, rounding out the top three runners for the Lady Techsters.
