Season Ticket Sales Strategy



Phase One

Out-Side Sales Representatives

Solicit outside sales representatives to sell season tickets, and pay each representative a fee based on number of season tickets sold.

Louisiana Tech Athletics welcome alumni, fans, and members of the community to sign up to be outside sales representatives.

Shreveport & Monroe are focus areas to develop sales representatives, but athletics will be recruiting outside sales representatives from all markets.

Each sales representative candidate will have to interview, and go through a training seminar with the Louisiana Tech Athletics External Staff. If a candidate is chosen, they will fill out all needed paper work to be a part time (occasional) worker.

Selected Sales Representatives: Only a select amount of sales representatives will be accepted. There will be a focus on having sales representatives assigned to geographic areas in Northern Louisiana and surrounding markets. Representatives will focus on assigned areas, but will be allowed to sell tickets in any market.

Training: Outside sales representatives will be given complete ticket sales information including a detailed diagram of all seating options, and a complete informational package. Training will make sure purchaser receives accurate information about the tickets they are purchasing (seat location, ect...).

Revenue Protection: In an effort to ensure that outside sales representatives are credited only for "new season ticket" purchasers, several policies will be implemented. All orders will be cross referenced to past purchases, and current purchasers will have to sign a special order-form that states they are a new season ticket purchaser, and did not purchase season tickets under another name in the last two seasons.

Future Renewal Process: Sales representatives will be notified that they will not receive the same incentive for renewing ticket purchasers in future years. (We may develop a renewal incentive plan at a later date)

  • Box Seat: $25 per box seat sold at full price (Purchaser must also donate the required $300 to champs)
  • Reserved Bench Seat: $25 per reserved seat sold
  • Young Alumni: $10 per seat sold: (young alumni must be verified)
  • Family Pack: $50 per family pack sold
  • Group Package: $200 per group package sold

Order forms must be filled out by purchaser (not by outside sales representative). Sales representative will only be paid for order forms turned in by sales representative, and for tickets paid in full. Sales representative will be paid on a monthly basis once all processing of ticket purchases are completed.

Zone 3- Texarkana
Zone 4- Shreveport, Bossier, and Mansfield
Zone 5- Magnolia, Camden
Zone 6- Minden, Homer
Zone 7- El Dorado, Crossett
Zone 8- Ruston
Zone 9 - Farmerville, Choudrant, Downsville
Zone 10- Monroe, Bastrop
Zone 11- Rayville, Winnsboro
Zone 12- Tallulah, Vicksburg
Zone 13- Jackson
Zone 14- Natchez
Zone 15- Alexandria
Zone 16- Natchitoches
Zone 17- Winnfield
Zone 18- Jonesboro
Zone 19- Nacogdoches
Zone 20- Leesville

Phase Two

In-House Account Executive Call Center

Louisiana Tech Athletics is hiring aggressive marketing ticket sales candidates to stimulate increased season ticket sales and renewals. Marketing ticket sales positions will be responsible for soliciting tickets sales via a call center atmosphere, and will be provided sales goals, and evaluated regularly on level of performance.

Selected candidates will focus on football ticket sales from May to September, basketball ticket sales from September to November, and baseball ticket sales from December to March. Individuals will be provided phone list(s), call script(s), and sales training. Hours will be flexible for day time and night time hours. This position requires an individual with initiative, persistence and the proven ability to focus in the areas of phone sales.
